Green job vacancies are on the rise – but workers with green skills are in short supply
Green job vacancies are increasing, but there is a shortage of workers with the necessary green skills. Job postings for green jobs are growing twice as fast as the number of workers with green skills. Only one in eight people currently possess relevant skills for addressing the climate crisis, with women being particularly disadvantaged.
