Data Science Analysts (Python, R) x3 - London
Hybrid Role - Immediate interviews
We have some excellent roles with a global retail and FMCG company to work with data science managers and implement robust,diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive solutions based on business needs.
Top 3-5 Accountabilities:
- Be an out-of-the-box thinker who is passionate about brainstorming innovative ways to leverage our unique data to predict, preventand solve business problems.
- Create clear, user-friendly documentation to support business usage of the solution
- Stay abreast of and apply industry and technology trends as well as emerging tools and techniques relevant to discipline
- Provide subject matter expertise and a significant understanding of statistical software (eg Python, SAS, R, others)
- Strong analytical skills -Ability to perform complex analysis, as well as to determine analysis required to solve business problems
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- 3-5 years experience & knowledge in Data Science or Machine Learning Algorithms
- Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technology/Statistics/Economics.
- Hands on experience in solving various advanced analytics use cases such as segmentation, forecasting, market basket analysis,optimisation, key driver/causal analysis, recommendation systems, up-sell cross-sell, predictive modelling, etc.
- Both theoretical & hands on knowledge of application of different advanced analytics methodologies like: Clustering, Time SeriesForecasting, Multivariate Regression, Logistic Regression, Linear & Non-Linear Optimisation, ML Models like Random Forest,GBM, SVM, XGBoost, etc.
- Experience delivering solutions using Agile methods
- Knowledge & experience in SQL database & MLOps
- Solid knowledge of various
- statistical techniques
- and experience using machine learning algorithms
- Proven experience building Machine Learning models
- Strong programming skills in languages such as
- Python, R
Preferred:
- 1+ years FMCG/Retail industry experience
- Natural Language Processing (NLP) & Topic Modelling
- Computer Vision
- Dataiku
- -AI & ML Platform experience
- Basic ML Engineering skills
- Agile development and delivery in
- Azure DevOps
- Good to have knowledge in the areas of Product Assortment, Marketing Mix Modelling, Supply Chain Management & Analytics,Finance, etc.
- Good to have working knowledge in Azure/Azure Databricks, S3, Power Shell scripting, Windows Batch scripting.
